Recently the coastal country of Chile was hit with an 8.8 magnitude earthquake. After that they were hit with several aftershocks that caused even more damage. Chile has been asking the USA and several other countries for aid and assistance to help them through this extremely tough time. As a major aid giver we immediatly gave them their aid but this caused the people of our country to question if we really have the money to help out.
I think that our country shouldnt give them much aid because we don't have that much to give. We recently have been helping other countries out with there natural disasters and it has made us be more drained for money than we already are. We simply cannot give them much aid. That might seem like the most inhumane type of choice but we also have to worry about our own people in our own country.
