CYO Basketball

One of the most amazing things in the world is CYO basketball. It just makes life so fun because students who are friends can come to school and trash talk eachother. Also it is fun while we are playing because it gets so violent and laid back. It's so amazing because of the many teams set up so friends can play with old grades school friends and get a chance to actually win something. We can actually end up winning City Championships and also the bragging rights that come with it. All of CYO basketball is so fun because of many things such as violence, its laid back, and it is a good way for friends to get together and have fun.

Christmas Presents

Christmas time is a hard time on peoples wallets because everyone wants to get the people they love fantastic and flashy presents. Guys especially want to impress the ladies in their lives because they want to keep them with them. I think that people are sometimes overspend just to impress people that do not even really want. Personally if I am going to get a present I will give someone a decently good thing that has more sentimental value than price value. These things always create good memories that last much longer than anything that money will buy. Overall I think that Christmas would definitely be more memorable if people stopped trying to buy peoples favor.

Kids Killing Kids

I think todays world is getting more and more crazy everyday. First were in a war with people who are determined enough to kill us that they will blow themselves up. Then we have people back home who forget were even in a war. Also we have a bad economic recession that is making life miserable for lots of people.
Now we here about several cases of kids killing other kids. To me and probably several other people this is just crazy. I thnk that adults killing eachother is bad enough but now kids are doing it too? I think it has to do with everything that is happening in this crazy time we live in. The recsession is giving economic stress, crime is still happening all around us, and movies and video games are promoting violence. Im not saying I dont like those movies and games but some people cannot draw the line between real life and a video game. Overall I get worried hearing about how people my age are killing eachother for reasons unknown.
